The Knauf Stratopanel 12/25R 60cm x 60cm Access Hatch Jig measures 90cm wide and 90cm high. This Jig will cut out the exact size needed to install the 60cm Knauf Stratopanel 12/25R access panel. You will need a Straight 2 flute 3mm router blade in a router/trimmer with a 89mm base plate (the one we used was a makita 18v battery trimmer) hooked up to a shop vacuum to remove the dust. This Jig features fixing holes to screw it thru the Knauf Stratopanel holes into the ceiling battens, it also features 4 alignment holes to line up with the holes in the Knauf Stratopanel, ensuring you get a perfectly centered access ponel. Using the Router/Trimmer ensures a nice clean cut in the ceiling. If you experience any paper burs, just sand them gently with a medium foam sanding block.
